Out of This World Concert - 3/26 & 3/27

The Valdosta Symphony is proud to announce its latest concert "Out of This World!", featuring guest narrator Dr. Norman Thagard, a retired NASA Astronaut who has flown on five missions, including on the Russian Mir. The VSO will perform Holst's The Planets to incredible NASA video footage of various missions to the planets in our solar system. The Saturday evening concert on March 26 is a full-length concert that also includes the music of Star Trek and a Pre-Concert Conversation with Dr. Thagard. The Sunday afternoon Family Concert on March 27 is the perfect length (1 hour) for younger audience members and an excellent bargain for parents (2 FREE children's tickets with the purchase of an adult ticket). This concert is the perfect opportunity to hear a live orchestra perform amazing music, see stunning images of the planets, and meet a true American hero, Astronaut Dr. Norman Thagard!
