MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers

Dear young mothers of children 5 and under,

If you are a stay at home mother I highly recommend getting involved in a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group. Luckily it appears that our area has several to choose from. 10 years ago when my first child was an infant, I was a stay at home mom, struggling in more ways than one. I joined a MOPS group and it changed my life. I actually have several friends that have remained dear friends to me from those early days of infancy, toddler & preschool years! 

Another life saver in those early days for me was MMO (Mothers Morning Out, and luckily several churches in our area offer those as well - just check the left hand tab!)
Mothers of Preschoolers, a place where you can come just as you are to be encouraged, equipped and develop as a woman, mother and leader.



MOPS at FUMC is a local group in Valdosta, GA open to all mothers of young children, infant to 5 years. Childcare is available but you must contact us to ensure space, they are getting maxed out.

Our MOPS group seeks to help moms build relationship with each other while enjoying the adventure of motherhood. We meet at First United Methodist in downtown Valdosta from September through May on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. In addition to regular meetings we have playdates, mom's nite outs, family picnics and much more.

Hahira, GA MOPS Group
Hahira also has a Mops group!
Bethany Baptist Church 5064 Bethany Rd, Hahira. Our meetings will start in September and will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.

New Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPs) group with Christian focus in Hahira. Meets at Bethany Baptist Church, 5064 Bethany Road on the first Tuesday of every month for moms and the third Thursday as a playdate for the children. For more information, call Christy Smith, 910-728-2277.
