Kids Dig It - September 15

Kids Dig It is an exciting family outing for kids of all ages which benefits Lowndes County 4-H. Your kids will enjoy sitting in construction equipment and seeing how it operates under the supervision of trained technicians. Other exhibits will be on hand for demonstration as well as games, concessions and much more. (Remember to take small bills, in the past most of the equipment costs $1/ride/sitting).

Saturday, September 15th, 2012, 10 - 3; Lowndes County Civic Center, Highway 84 East

Don't Make Me Count to Three Bible Study

Moms,

There is an upcoming Bible Study on the book Don't Make Me Count to Three written by Ginger Plowmen.  It was a great book to read on your own, but now Crosspointe Church is doing a weekly Bible Study on it.  It is a very good child rearing book.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ladies, join us next week! We will be kicking off our new Women's D Groups! So that we can have enough childcare workers to watch over your sweet little ones, we are asking that you register through the link listed below before the study.
Go to www.crosspointechurch.cc/dgroups/women. See you net week!
Whether you are a mom, grandmother, aunt, teacher, friend, we all need to know how to relate to a child and train their hearts biblically! Join us each Monday morning to learn more about God's design for training up a child!
GA Tech/UGA Parent Meeting
Some parents have been pushing for  GA Tech & UGA to reach out to more parents and students in our area.  This is a perfect opportunity to get more information without a long drive.  Don’t procrastinate until the senior year!  (no matter how hard it is to think about them leaving)  It’s tough to get into these schools and the meeting will give you some good insight on what’s required.
So, please consider attending this meeting and passing the information along to your friends.  The schools will only keep coming back if the attendance is good.
